Predators agree to terms with Ellis
Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – The Nashville Predators agreed to terms with defenseman Ryan Ellis on Thursday.
The team announced that full details of the contract with the restricted free agent will be released on Friday. However, TSN.ca reported the deal to be worth $12.5 million over five years.
Ellis appeared in 80 games last season and posted six goals and 21 assists.
Over three seasons in the NHL, the 23-year-old 2009 first-round pick (11th overall) has totaled 11 goals and 33 assists along with a plus-12 rating in 144 games.
