Tallahassee, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Florida State running back Karlos Williams has not been charged in a domestic battery case that was opened last month after a woman’s post on social media was brought to the attention of the university.

According to documents released Wednesday by the Tallahassee Police Department, charges were not filed because the alleged victim chose not to make a statement or meet with an investigator and because there was no additional evidence beyond the initial post.

Police announced on Oct. 27 that Williams was the subject of an investigation. The report released Wednesday shows he also did not meet with investigators or make a statement.

The report included a copy of an email sent to Tallahassee Police Chief Michael DeLeo from Florida State general counsel Carolyn Egan alerting him of a Facebook post that included photos of apparent bruises along with a message saying the woman writing the post was pregnant.

Williams, a senior, has rushed for 520 yards and nine touchdowns in eight games for the No. 2 Seminoles (9-0).
