Pistons sign John Lucas III for rest of season

Auburn Hills, MI (SportsNetwork.com) – The Detroit Pistons have signed guard John Lucas III for the remainder of the season following two consecutive 10- day contracts.

Lucas has averaged 5.0 points and 3.3 assists in eight games with Detroit this season.

The 32-year-old Lucas joined the Pistons following a stint with the Fujian Sturgeons of the Chinese Basketball Association where he averaged 26.6 points, 7.1 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 26 games.
