Pistons’ Knight leaves with ankle injury
Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) – Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Knight injured his ankle during Monday’s contest against the Utah Jazz and will not return.
While driving to the basket, Knight rolled his ankle and drew a foul. The injury prevented him from shooting the free throws, and because of which, he is not allowed to re-enter the game.
The team is calling in a sprain of his left ankle and more information will be provided when it is known.
Coming into the contest, the second-year player out of Kentucky was averaging 14.0 points and 4.2 assists per game.
