Penner returns vs. Bruins
Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) – Dustin Penner will return to the Anaheim Ducks lineup on Thursday in Boston after a five-game absence due to concussion symptoms.
Anaheim head coach Bruce Boudreau made the announcement following a morning practice session.
The 31-year-old was sent to the ice after a hit to the head from Dallas Stars winger Ryan Garbutt on Oct. 20, with Garbutt drawing a five-game suspension for his actions.
Prior to the injury, Penner totaled two goals and two assists in six games.
