Pelicans waive recent signing Childress

New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) – The New Orleans Pelicans waived forward Josh Childress on Friday.

Childress, 30, didn’t attempt a shot in four games for the Pelicans after they signed him Nov. 12.

The former No. 6 overall draft pick has played parts of eight NBA seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets and Pelicans since 2004.
