Paul McCartney’s going Back on Tour this Summer!

Paul McCartney is going on tour this summer but like all great artists, there’s little known right now about the details. The dates that have been announced are big news, as they include dates that McCartney’s either never been to, or hasn’t been to in several years.

The first big announcement came just a few days ago, when Sir Paul announced on his website that he’d be playing at Fenway Park in Boston on July 9. Paul’s been to Fenway before, but not since 2009, giving many New Englanders a chance to see him once again, or for the first time ever.

The second date that was announced falls before that Fenway date, on May 22 when the iconic British rocker will visit the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. That will be the first time he’s ever been to the state capital.

Other dates that were announced fall between May 4 and May 9 and take Paul to Brazil. In between the dates in Boston and Austin, he’ll also add to this year’s spectacular Bonnaroo lineup, with the festival taking place from June 13 — 16. After that Paul has another handful of European dates scattered throughout Poland, Italy, and Austria.

With a few gaps showing in the schedule, fans are of course hoping that Paul will add on even more dates. But May is fast approaching, so if more dates are to be announced, they most likely will be soon. In the meantime, Paul McCartney tickets go on sale on April 5, and they’re not going to last long!
