Patriots place Siliga on short-term IR

Foxboro, MA (SportsNetwork.com) – The New England Patriots signed defensive lineman Casey Walker off Carolina’s practice squad and placed defensive lineman Sealver Siliga on injured reserve with a designation to return.

Siliga suffered a foot injury against Oakland last Sunday. He played in the first three games with two starts.

Siliga is eligible to return on Nov. 23 against the Detroit Lions.

Walker spent part of the 2013 season on the Carolina practice squad.
