Patriots place DL Kelly on IR
Foxboro, MA (SportsNetwork.com) – The New England Patriots placed defensive lineman Tommy Kelly on injured reserve Saturday.
Kelly suffered a knee injury at Cincinnati on Oct. 6 and was inactive for the last three contests. He registered 22 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks while starting the first five games of the season.
Offensive lineman Josh Kline was signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster in a corresponding move.
