Party Hard at the Harley Davidson Celebration at Summerfest
Starting on Aug 19, 2013, the Harley Davidson Summerfest Celebration kicks off in style. You can have three days of fun celebrating Harley Davidson, music, and much more. The event takes place in Milwaukee, WI at Maier Festival Park and promises to be a great time with tons of great music, as well as the HD Museum.
Some of the bands that will be playing at the festival on August 29th include Dropkick Murphys, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Blue Oyster Cult, Bret Michaels, and Lynyrd Sknyrd. On August 30th, you can see Shooter Jennings, Gin Blossoms, Buckcherry, The Gaslight Anthem, and more. On the 31st, see ZZ Top, Soul Asylum, Chasin Mason, Yellowcard and other bands. On the last day of the celebration, September 1, there are no bands playing, but it can be a good time to get out and enjoy the museum.
The Harley Davidson Museum is going to be open from 9AM to 9PM for all days of the HD celebration, and it’s a great place to learn more about the history of these bikes, how they’ve become such a popular and important part of pop and American culture and much more. Those who have tickets to the HD Celebration have access to the museum.
