St. Paul, MN (SportsNetwork.com) – Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise is expected to miss the next 2-to-3 weeks with a foot injury.
The club revealed on Tuesday that Parise sustained a contusion when blocking a shot from Alex Steen of the St. Louis Blues in the first period of a 3-0 loss on Monday.
The durable 29-year-old winger has yet to miss a game since signing with Minnesota in July of 2012, having played in 73 straight. He leads the club with 22 points (11G, 11A) in 25 games.
