Panthers’ Tolbert has hairline fracture, Stewart sprained knee
Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) – Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said fullback Mike Tolbert has a hairline fracture in his right leg and running back Jonathan Stewart has a severely sprained right knee.
Both were injured in Sunday night’s 37-19 home loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Tolbert has already been ruled out for this Sunday’s game in Baltimore, while Stewart will be re-evaluated Friday.
Rivera is confident that running back DeAngelo Williams will return for the game against the Ravens. He has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury.
