Orioles recall Meek

Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) – The Baltimore Orioles recalled pitcher Evan Meek from Triple-A Norfolk and optioned pitcher Kevin Gausman to the Tides on Thursday.

Meek, 31, went 0-1 with a 6.94 ERA in 12 appearances for the Orioles earlier this season.

Gausman, 23, started Wednesday’s game against the Tigers and allowed five earned runs in four innings. He went 0-1 with a 2.08 ERA in six starts for the Tides before being recalled.
