It’s been almost two years since many fans have gotten a chance to see Norah Jones in concert; but this spring and summer she’ll embark on a tour that crosses overseas and then comes to North America. And this time around, Norah Jones is singing a different kind of tune.

Emotional heartache is certainly not be completely unfamiliar territory for Jones’, who’s album Come Away with Me won her a Grammy and carried a very deep, soulful, bluesy sound it. Her fifth and latest album though, Little Broken Hearts, is “stylish yet deeply emotional,” and “a departure for Jones and another step in her evolution,” according to the Associated Press. A few fans got a chance to hear her latest album, in its entirety, at the SXSW Music Festival this past Saturday in Austin, Texas and many more are about to, as Jones takes the show on the road.

The tour will begin on May 25 at Olympia Theater in Paris, France and from there, Jones will travel to Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and London before crossing the pond and landing in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 20. That show, held at the Murat Theater, will kick off the North American leg of the tour which will have Jones heading to 12 different stops around the United States and Canada. She’ll spend much of July overseas as well, before returning to the States on August 7 to perform in Santa Barbara, California. She’ll be there to stay until August 23, when she wraps it all up with a show at Red Rocks in Denver, Colorado.

Perhaps the tumultuous there-again/back-again schedule of the tour is to symbolize the heartbreak of a tumultuous relationship that has finally come to an end; the concept Jones has said is behind the album. You can find out exactly when and where Norah will be here; and you can buy her latest album when it hits stores on May 1.
