No change to top 20 in women’s world rankings
Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – With the LPGA Tour off last week, there was little change to this week’s world rankings, with nobody inside the top 20 changing positions.
Stacy Lewis remained the No. 1 player in the world for another week. She was followed by Inbee Park, Lydia Ko, Suzann Pettersen and Karrie Webb at Nos. 2 through 5.
So Yeon Ryu, Michelle Wie, Lexi Thompson, Shanshan Feng and Anna Nordqvist also stayed put and they rounded out the top 10 once again from No. 6.
Anna Nordqvist, Hyo-Joo Kim, Cristie Kerr, Na Yeon Choi, Paula Creamer, Azahara Munoz, Lizette Salas, Angela Stanford, Sun Ju Ahn, Amy Yang and Ha Na Jang were Nos. 11 through 20 for the second straight week.
The LPGA Tour is back in action again this week as players head to Beijing, China for the Reignwood LPGA Classic.
