No change of Pace: Jets re-sign LB
Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) – Linebacker Calvin Pace re-signed with the New York Jets on Tuesday.
Pace, 33, played last season for the Jets on a one-year deal and recorded a career-high 10 sacks along with 53 tackles.
Terms of Pace’s new deal were not released, but the Star-Ledger reported it was a two-year pact worth $5 million.
Pace has spent the past six seasons with the Jets after signing as a free agent from Arizona, where he played his first five seasons. The Wake Forest product has 548 tackles and 52 sacks with three interceptions in 155 career games.
