New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Indianapolis Colts safety LaRon Landry is about to take an NFL-mandated vacation.

Landry has been suspended without pay for the next four games for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances, the league said in a statement Monday.

Landry, 29, is eligible to return to the Colts’ active roster on Monday, Oct. 27, following the team’s Week 8 game against Pittsburgh. The Colts have a bye in Week 9.

The eight-year veteran out of LSU had totaled 23 tackles in four games this season.
