NCAA College Football Preview: Week 7
If you’re looking for great college football this weekend, you’ve really got your pick of the crop. Below, we’ve chosen the top three that we’ve handpicked ourselves.
(3) South Carolina at (9) LSU
The South Carolina Gamecocks are on fire this season, and shaping up to be one of the teams to take it all. It’s been over twenty years since they’ve had this kind of success, and they’ll look to continue it against LSU. The game shouldn’t be too tough for South Carolina, as LSU just isn’t up to the par it was last year; and they suffered a devastating loss last week. The Gamecocks on the other hand, beat a then-higher ranked Georgia, which put them on pace to take out anyone in their path. On Saturday, that will include LSU.
(1) Alabama at Missouri
Alabama has been hovering around the number one position for over a year now, and this unranked Missouri team will be an easy one for them to take on Saturday; especially considering that Missouri’s just lost their best quarterback. Still, it gives you a chance to sit back and watch the best team in the nation right now, and that never makes for a bad game. Alabama’s biggest challenge this game will be that they’re in a building they’ve never been in before.
(17) Stanford at (7) Notre Dame
Last year this one may have looked like little challenge for Stanford, but they no longer have Luck. And while Josh Nunes had a fairly good start to the season, he’s stumbled a bit in the last few weeks. Notre Dame simply sits higher in the ranks, and that’s because right now they’re the better team. They’ll prove it once again when they welcome Stanford on Saturday.
