NCAA College Football Preview: Week 4

Notre Dame is looking to extend their best start in 10 years, and Clemson and Florida State will duke it out to see who has the better offense. Meanwhile, Kansas State and Oklahoma will be together in the Big 12 opener in what’s bound to be a seriously exciting weekend of college football.

(18) Michigan at (11) Notre Dame
Notre Dame may have started the season better than they have in a decade; but they’ll have this weekend to really prove their merit. On Saturday they face the Michigan Wolverines and the worst of them for the Fighting Irish, quarterback Denard Robinson. The Wolverines have won their past three games; while the Notre Dame has won four. If they can fight off Michigan though, they’ll make it into the Top 10.

(10) Clemson at (4) Florida State
This game will decide who the superpower in the Atlantic Division is. With Tajh Boyd as quarterback for Clemson, they could have it; especially considering that QB EJ Manuel for Florida State has only played six quarters. Still, Florida has only lost 1 of their past 11 games; and they’ve only given up an average of 8.8 points, unlike Clemson who’s given up an average of 36.6 points. Florida State will probably take this one, and prove they’re the ones to beat in this division.

(15) Kansas State at (6) Oklahoma
Those who have been waiting for a Big 12 opener can stop waiting! And just to make it even more exciting, it’s a rematch between Kansas State and Oklahoma after the Sooners decimated Kansas State last year. Landry Jones is the biggest reason why Oklahoma has gotten as far as they have. And if Kansas State wants to even stay in the running, they first have to figure out a way to slow him down.
