Nationals’ Espinosa activated from DL, sent to minors
Washington, DC (Sports Network) – The Washington Nationals activated infielder Danny Espinosa from the 15-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old landed on the DL earlier this month because of a broken bone in his right wrist.
Espinosa has appeared in 44 games with the Nationals this season, hitting .158 with three home runs and 12 RBI.
