Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) – Matt Fraser scored 1:19 into overtime and the Boston Bruins grabbed a 1-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens in Game 4 of this Eastern Conference semifinal series. Playing in his first-ever playoff game after being called up earlier on Thursday, Fraser’s heroics helped the Bruins even this set at two games apiece. Game 5 will be played in Boston on Saturday. Tuukka Rask stopped 33 shots for his second shutout of the playoffs and fifth of his postseason career. Carey Price turned away 34 shots in the loss for the Canadiens.

Final Score: Anaheim 3, Los Angeles 2

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Ben Lovejoy’s late third-period goal proved to be the difference as the Anaheim Ducks beat the Los Angeles Kings 3-2 on Thursday night at Staples Center. Corey Perry and Teemu Selanne each scored power-play goals as the Ducks trimmed the Kings’ lead in this Western Conference semifinal series to 2-1. Jonas Hiller made seven saves in the final 9:58 after rookie Frederik Andersen left with a lower-body injury for the Ducks. Andersen, who is considered day-to-day, started all six games in the Ducks’ first-round win over the Dallas Stars before Hiller started the first two games against the Kings in Anaheim. Jeff Carter and Mike Richards scored for Los Angeles, while Jonathan Quick stopped 19 shots in defeat.
