Ray Whitney, Valeri Nichushkin and Antoine Roussel scored in regulation for the Stars, who snapped a two-game skid. Kari Lehtonen stopped 33-of-36 shots. Erik Karlsson, Jason Spezza and Bobby Ryan each had a goal and an assist for the Senators, who have lost five in a row for the first time since March 30- April 9 of last season. Craig Anderson made 33 saves before leaving the game on a stretcher in overtime. Robin Lehner made two saves in relief.

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) – Kris Russell scored the game-winner 1:32 into overtime to lead the Calgary Flames to a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Mike Cammalleri and Curtis Glencross also scored for the Flames, who had dropped four of their last five games entering the contest. Reto Berra made 42 saves in the win. Patrick Kane had a goal and an a assist and Marian Hossa also lit the lamp for the Blackhawks, who had won three straight.

St. Paul, MN (SportsNetwork.com) – Josh Harding stopped all 19 shots he faced between the pipes as the Minnesota Wild blanked the New Jersey Devils, 4-0, from Xcel Energy Center. Mikael Granlund, Torrey Mitchell, Dany Heatley and Jason Pominville all lit the lamp for Minnesota, which won for the fifth time in its last six tries. Nido Niederreiter had three assists. Cory Schneider allowed three goals on 19 shots in defeat.
