Anton Stralman and Steven Stamkos each had a goal and Ben Bishop posted 30 stops for the Lightning, who have won their past two and now trail Montreal by two points for first place in the Atlantic Division and first overall in the Eastern Conference. Tomas Tatar scored the only goal of the game for the Red Wings, who sit eight points back of Tampa Bay for second in the division but do have two games in hand. Jimmy Howard allowed two goals on 31 shots in the loss.

Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Corey Perry scored the game-winning goal 1:25 into overtime to lift the Anaheim Ducks to a 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Friday. After Sami Vatanen stripped a player of the puck, Perry took the loose puck and finished off a breakaway with a wrister over Semyon Varlamov’s glove for the win. Jiri Sekac and Rickard Rakell each tallied a goal and an assist and Frederik Andersen made 22 saves en route to the Ducks’ fourth straight win. Jarome Iginla and Ryan O’Reilly each lit the lamp, while Varlamov made 37 stops as Colorado’s three-game winning streak was halted.
