In the second round, Silfverberg buried a wrister past the glove of Jimmy Howard, and the Ducks grabbed the win as Tomas Tatar missed his shot on Detroit’s last chance. Andrew Cogliano, Emerson Etem and Francois Beauchemin scored in a span of 3:40 late in regulation for the Ducks, who have won three straight. John Gibson turned aside 35 shots for the win. Pavel Datsyuk scored twice and Riley Sheahan had the other goal for the Red Wings, who are 2-0-1 on a six-game road trip. Howard finished with 22 saves.
