Philipp Grubauer picked up his first NHL victory this season with 23 saves plus turning away two of three chances in the game’s final segment. Ryan Kesler and Corey Perry tallied for the Ducks, who had won their previous two. Ilya Bryzgalov made 32 stops but let two shots slip by in the shootout.

Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – Nick Foligno posted two goals and an assist as the Columbus Blue Jackets ended the St. Louis Blues’ lengthy point streak with an emphatic 7-1 win on Friday. Ryan Johansen tallied a short-handed goal and two assists and Corey Tropp and Scott Hartnell each had a goal and a helper while Matt Calvert and Cam Atkinson also scored for the Blue Jackets, who ended a three-game skid. Curtis McElhinney made 32 saves to help give the Blues their first regulation loss since Jan. 2. St. Louis entered the game with seven straight wins and was riding a franchise-long 13-game point streak (12-0-1). Paul Stastny supplied the Blues’ lone goal, Brian Elliott allowed four goals on 14 shots and Jake Allen stopped 16-of-19 shots in relief.

Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) – Brandon Saad’s strike with 1:59 left in overtime lifted Chicago over Winnipeg, 2-1, at MTS Centre. Patrick Kane added a goal and one assist for the Blackhawks, who beat their Central Division rivals for the first time in four meetings this season. Corey Crawford picked up the win thanks to 20 saves. Mark Scheifele tallied for the Jets, who have lost six in a row but have claimed a point in their last two defeats. Michael Hutchinson made 20 stops in defeat.

Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) – Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 21 shots for his eighth shutout of the season to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins in a 4-0 win over the Calgary Flames. Fleury set a franchise record, as he surpassed Tom Barrasso’s shutout mark that was set in the 1997-98 season. Sidney Crosby had two goals and an assist, while David Perron added a goal and an assist and Brandon Sutter also scored for the Penguins, who have won three of their last four. Chris Kunitz had three assists in the win. Jonas Hiller allowed all four goals on 24 shots for the Flames, who had a three-game winning streak stopped. Karri Ramo stopped six shots after coming into the game a little over five minutes into the third period.
