Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) – Marc-Edouard Vlasic’s goal with just 4.5 seconds to play gave the San Jose Sharks a 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets. The game appeared headed to overtime, but a right circle faceoff win by Joe Pavelski saw Logan Couture dig out the loose puck and pass it over to the left circle where Vlasic wristed it high for the winner. Brent Burns posted a goal and an assist while Melker Karlsson also had a goal for the Sharks, who had lost four of five coming into the game. Antti Niemi allowed both goals on 19 shots in the victory. Andrew Ladd and Jay Harrison both scored for the Jets, who have lost three of their last four. Michael Hutchinson allowed three goals on 37 shots in the loss.
