Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – Brook Lopez took over in the fourth quarter and the Brooklyn Nets picked up a 97-88 road win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Lopez, in his second game since returning from an ankle injury, scored 12 of his 20 points in the last quarter and added nine rebounds to seal Brooklyn’s second win in its last nine games. Joe Johnson and Andray Blatche did most of the damage early and finished with 26 and 21 points, respectively, in the victory. Quincy Pondexter exploded for 20 of his 22 points in the final 13 minutes, but it wasn’t enough to rally the Grizzlies from a 15-point deficit. Mike Conley donated 16 points and 10 assists in the loss, Memphis’ third in the last four games.

Kevin Love had 21 points and 11 rebounds and Nikola Pekovic had 21 points and nine rebounds for Minnesota, which snapped a three-game losing streak. Monta Ellis had 26 points, six assists and six rebounds and Dirk Nowitzki added 23 points with six assists for the Mavericks, who have lost four of their last five games. With 6:33 left to play DeJuan Blair’s putback brought Dallas within two points but that would be the closest the Mavs would come in the fourth quarter.

San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – Patrick Beverley’s tie-breaking tip-in highlighted a game-closing 9-0 spurt that lifted the Houston Rockets to a 112-106 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday at AT&T Center. With the Rockets down by three and under a minute remaining in the game, James Harden drilled a left wing 3-pointer that tied the game at 106-106. Richard Jefferson netted 15 points, while Marvin Williams and Derrick Favors tallied 14 points apiece in the win. Goran Dragic paced Phoenix with 24 points and nine assists, while Channing Frye added 17 points on 3-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc.
