MLB Trade Rumors

With just a few weeks until the Major League Baseball trade deadline, there are tons of storylines for ball fans to feed off of. The biggest storylines though are undoubtedly the fact that the White Sox look to be getting rid of everyone, while the Milwaukee Brewers look to be getting rid of right-handed pitcher Yovani Gallardo.

If the Brewers do trade Gallardo, it would most likely be to the Arizona Diamondbacks, who are desperately looking for a starting pitcher with both Trevor Cahill and Brandon McCarthy on the disabled list. Whether or not Gallardo is Arizona’s answer has yet to be determined as he’s had a poor start so far this season. But if he can get back into his prime form, there’s little doubt that he could bring a little polish to the Diamondbacks.

Also reportedly up for grabs on the Brewers’ side of things are John Axford, Jim Henderson, and Francisco Rodriguez.

As for the White Sox, they could be a completely different team by the time all trading is said and done. The only two players the Sox are reported to be keeping are first baseman Paul Konerko and left-hander Chris Sale. The players they’d most like to move according to CBS Sports are Alex Rios, Alexei Ramirez, John Danks, and Jeff Keppinger. The Sox are also looking at just about any team for any of these trades with a specific focus on the Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the New York Mets.

What do you think the biggest stories will be once trade deadline day comes and goes? Who would you most like to see traded?
