‘Melo out against Spurs

San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will sit out Wednesday night’s game against the Spurs in San Antonio with knee soreness.

Anthony, whose left knee has been bothering him all season, is averaging 22.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

The Knicks have lost nine in a row and their 4-19 start is the worst in franchise history.
