Mavericks’ Blair suspended for Game 5
New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Dallas Mavericks center DeJuan Blair has been suspended for Wednesday’s Game 5 of the team’s Western Conference quarterfinals series with San Antonio for kicking Spurs center Tiago Splitter in the head.
Blair was ejected with 3:08 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Mavericks’ Game 4 loss to the Spurs on Monday.
Blair is averaging 5.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in the postseason.
The series is tied at two games apiece.
