Maine, Towson highlight CAA Football honors
Richmond, VA (SportsNetwork.com) – CAA Football champion Maine and Towson both earned two of the conference’s postseason awards on Tuesday.
Maine’s Jack Cosgrove was named the CAA coach of the year and linebacker Christophe Mulumba earned defensive rookie of the year honors.
Towson running back Terrance West was selected as the offensive player of the year and his backfield mate Darius Victor was the offensive rookie of the year.
James Madison linebacker Stephon Robertson was named the conference’s defensive player of the year, while William & Mary kick and punt returner Tre McBride gained the special teams player of the year.
West and Robertson headlined the All-CAA first team
