Mahan withdraws at Bay Hill
Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Hunter Mahan withdrew from the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Sunday after completing just one hole in the final round.
The PGA Tour’s website said Mahan had a hip injury. He was 3-over after the third round and had bogeyed his first hole Sunday.
Mahan had been battling a back ailment. He tied for ninth in each of his last two outings — the WGC-Cadillac Championship and the WGC-Match Play Championship — and has four top-10 finishes this year.
