Luke Bryan’s Gearing Up for First Headlining Tour!

Luke Bryan has spent years building up his name as a country artist. Along the way he’s always appeared as a supporting act for bigger names such as Tim McGraw and more recently, Jason Aldean. Now though, he’s breaking away from the sidelines and striking out on his own tour. It all starts in just under two weeks, so if you haven’t yet, get your tickets now!

The reason for Bryan’s seemingly delayed tour success is unknown. Just over ten years ago he moved to Nashville and landed a record deal almost immediately. Since that time he’s enjoyed the success of many big hits, including his most recent “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.” Now, after the release of his fourth album, he’s announced that he’s going on his first headlining tour, called the “Dirt Road Diaries Tour.”

The tour kicks off on January 17 in Evansville, Indianapolis and from there Bryan will travel to 18 other cities before wrapping it up on March 23 in Charlottesville, Virginia. You can find a full listing of tour dates here. Luke Bryan knows what it’s like for fans to be able to see huge opening acts and that’s why he’s bringing his own along the road with him. Both Florida Georgia Line and Thompson Square will be supporting Bryan on his first tour.

“I have dreamed about this day for a very long time,” Luke said when announcing the tour. “We are having the best time putting it together, all the bells and whistles for the tour. I have spent a lot of time out on tours with some really great artists and each night we have tried to learn from them. I couldn’t be more excited about this!”
