Lind returns for Blue Jays
Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) – Toronto Blue Jays designated hitter/first baseman Adam Lind, who hasn’t played in over a month due to a fractured right foot, was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list prior to Tuesday’s game against the Seattle Mariners.
Lind, who hasn’t played since July 7, was listed as the DH and hitting clean- up in the lineup.
In 61 games this season, Lind is hitting .320 with four homers and 27 RBI.
The Blue Jays opened a roster spot for Lind when they designated left-handed pitcher Brad Mills for assignment following Monday’s loss to the Mariners.
