Laryngitis Keeps Rihanna from Boston Concert

Rihanna’s “Diamonds World Tour” had just begun when, just two days into it she had to cancel her second stop in Boston, Massachusetts due to a case of laryngitis. Live Nation broke the news to Us Weekly, and RiRi herself took to her Twitter account almost immediately after to apologize to fans.

“#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we’ve been waiting on this day forever, and I’m hurt that I let you down,” she wrote. Not being kept to just 140 characters though, she quickly tweeted out again saying, “I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I’m so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!”

Meanwhile, a source says that Rihanna is looking to Chris Brown for comfort, insisting that he call her while she’s resting just so she could hear his voice, according to a source.

Rihanna’s next stop on her five-month long world tour is tonight, where she’s set to perfrom at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. That show is scheduled to go on as planned; and although there’s no word yet on when it will happen, the Boston show is going to be rescheduled.
