Ibaraki, Japan (Sports Network) – Satoshi Kodaira carded a 2-under 70 on Sunday to win the Shishido Hills Championship by one stroke.

Kodaira finished the tournament at 14-under-par 274 to grab his first career victory on the Japan Tour.

S.K. Ho and Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who won the European Tour’s Maybank Malaysian Open earlier this year, each shot a 70 to finish in second at 13- under.

Sung-Joon Park shot a 4-under 68 at Shishido Hills Country Club to claim sole possession of fourth place at 12-under 276.

Kodaira raced out of the gate with four birdies over his first six holes, but then stumbled to a double bogey at the seventh and a bogey at the ninth to make the turn at 13-under.

He bounced right back with an eagle at the 10th, but gave one of those strokes right back with a bogey at the 11th. He closed with seven straight pars to end at 14-under.

Ho had a share of the lead at 12-under after countering a bogey with four birdies over his first 12 holes, but a bogey at the 17th dropped him a shot off the pace and he parred his final hole to fail to force a playoff.
