Knicks’ Smith suspended one game for groin strike
New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith has been suspended one game without pay for striking Washington Wizards guard Glen Rice Jr. in the groin.
The incident occurred with 5:45 remaining in the fourth quarter of Washington’s 98-83 win over New York on Tuesday.
Smith will miss Wednesday’s game against the Detroit Pistons.
