Knicks’ Shumpert has sprained knee, out two weeks
New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL in his left knee and is expected to miss two weeks.
Shumpert suffered the injury in Wednesday’s 98-91 win over New Orleans in the third quarter.
Shumpert is averaging 6.9 points and 4.5 rebounds in 52 games with the Knicks this season.
