Kenny Chesney Has Busy Month of June
Country music star Kenny Chesney has a busy month of June ahead, with nine shows during the month spread across five different states. Chesney starts in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and ends in Columbus, Ohio, with stops in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Missouri and elsewhere in Ohio in between.
Chesney is touring with the Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves, while his stops in Philadelphia, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and Columbus also feature Eric Church.
Chesney hits Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 8th and then swings out to Noblesville, Indiana, on June 13th. On June 15th, Chesney rocks Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, and on June 20th, he hits Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Two days later, Chesney appears at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From there it’s three shows in three nights as Chesney appears in Maryland Heights, Missouri, on June 27th and in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Columbus, Ohio, on June 28th and 29th.
Chesney’s set list is sure to be packed with hits, as he has 19 different number one songs from the United States Country charts. Some of the best known include “There Goes My Life,” “Living in Fast Forward,” “Summertime,” “Beer in Mexico,” “Don’t Blink,” “Down the Road,” and “The Boys of Fall.”
Chesney’s most recent number one hit is “Come Over,” from 2012. In 2011, he topped the American country charts with “Reality,” and “Live a Little.”
Fans will also be likely to hear “When I See This Bar,” which is Chesney’s most recent single. “Pirate Flag,” came out earlier this year and has reached as high as number seven on the U.S. country charts.
Chesney has released 15 different albums in his career, and 14 of them have gone on to be certified gold or better by the Recording Industry Association of America. Chesney is a four-time Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year, taking the award in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
