Kelly Clarkson Going on Tour in 2012

Less than a month after releasing her fifth studio album, Stronger, Kelly Clarkson has announced that she’s going on tour to promote it! The tour, which is being called a “world tour” currently only has dates in the United States and Canada — does this mean that Kelly is planning on adding even more dates? Only time will tell, but we sure hope so!

The tour kicks off on January 13 in Mashantucket, Connecticut and will take Kelly through cities such as New York, Boston, Hollywood, and Salt Lake City. Canadian stops currently include venues in London, Windsor, and Niagara Falls, Ontario. The tour is also touting over 40 stops, but with just about 30 listed right now, which it’s a good indication that more dates and stops are going to be added.  You can get Kelly Clarkson tickets here for all of her events!

Those who have already purchased the album know that this one has quite a different sound on it than Kelly’s projects in the past; and she says that all thanks are to be given to the producers for it. In a recent press release, Kelly explained that the vocals on Stronger “sound richer and fuller and for the first time, how I sound when I’m performing live. The producers I worked with just let me sing and be me. They didn’t strip away the personality.” So if you already have it, you may already have an idea what to expect at the concert!

In other Kelly news, she’s also about to release a new video and is giving fans the chance to be in it! Kelly has posted the dance routine on her website and invites fans to coordinate flash dance mobs and submit the routines as they’re danced by the crowd (which can also be done via her website.) After looking at all the submissions, Kelly will then decide which ones she likes best, and those ones will appear in her new video!

It’s time to get your dance on, and get your tickets, as 2012 is definitely shaping up to be one of the best for Kelly Clarkson fans!
