Justin Timberlake “Ready” for Another Album

No artist ever just announced that they’re ready to make another album anymore. They need to find bigger, better ways to do it and to create some buzz. Especially when you’re an artist that’s only dropped two albums in the past decade; and especially when you’ve recently been making major headlines after marrying Jessica Biel. That’s why, when Justin Timberlake was ready to create another album, he took to a video plastered all over the Internet to do it.

The video begins with Justin walking into and through his home, making his way to what we find out later is a recording studio. While we watch him on his jaunt, we also hear a narrative of Justin explaining where he’s been the past six years. He’s been waiting. Because great music, the kind that inspires Justin and that truly showcases what he loves, “doesn’t come around every day. You have to wait for it.” And we all have. Waited. Anxiously.

Justin’s announcement video ends with him placing headphones on his head while standing in front of a microphone and simply stating, “I’m ready.” But just how ready he is hasn’t yet been confirmed. No release date was given, for an album or even a new song, but the video does conclude with a countdown clock with a timer of three days. Rumor has it that this indicates at least a new song will be released very shortly.

JT’s website has been renamed to Justin Timberlake countdown and it’s where you can view the video and the official countdown clock (which at the time of writing was set at 02:10:32:05.)
