JT Builds Suspense Over Possible New Song

Who could forget the way Justin Timberlake announced that he was coming out with “The 20/20 Experience?” Fans got a YouTube video that showed JT making his way to the studio, while his voiceover talked about waiting to be ready until the time felt right to make new music. Well now he’s done it again. In what may be an even more dramatic video, JT teases a new song, and some think it’s most likely the first single after the sequel to the “20/20.”

JT’s newest video was released onto YouTube on Wednesday, and in it he jumps out of a car and starts showing signs. At first the signs all read titles of singles of “20/20,” along with the dates of their release. Fans will recognize many of the names – “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors” are two among them. But when he gets to the last, the card reads “Take Back the Night” and the date on the bottom is blurred out. For the last ten seconds JT is on his way to a club with that very song playing in the background. Is it good, is it bad? Well with only ten seconds of listening, it’s hard to say. But with a buildup like this, fans are certainly going to be expecting something big.

The sequel to “The 20/20 Experience” is expected to be out this September, so fans will get a chance to judge the full-length song for themselves sometime soon. For now listen to what you can of it by checking it out on YouTube here.
