New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) – Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is active for today’s game against the New Orleans Saints.

Jones, who had missed last week’s game against Pittsburgh due to a hip injury, was hurt in the fourth quarter of a game two weeks ago against Green Bay.

Jones put his hip to the test in pre-game warm-ups at the Superdome for today’s big test. The Falcons enter the contest one game behind the Saints for the lead in the NFC South and a win Sunday would give them a tiebreaker advantage over New Orleans with a sweep of the season series.

The former Alabama star has 93 receptions for 1,428 yards and six touchdowns this season. He was leading the NFL in receiving yards before Pittsburgh’s Antonio Brown surpassed him last week.

Safety William Moore, who also sat out last week with a right foot injury he suffered in the Green Bay game, is also active for today’s contest.
