Jets place Halischuk on IR
Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) – The Winnipeg Jets placed forward Matt Halischuk on injured reserve Monday.
Halischuk suffered a fractured forearm in a 6-4 loss to the Dallas Stars on Saturday. The Jets announced Sunday that Halischuk underwent successful surgery to repair the damage.
The 25-year-old winger has totaled three goals and seven points over 30 games in his first season with Winnipeg.
