Jets CB Milliner ruled out vs. Raiders
Florham Park, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) – New York Jets cornerback Dee Milliner has been ruled out for Sunday’s season opener against the Oakland Raiders with an ankle injury.
Milliner missed practice again on Friday with an ankle sprain and was expected to sit.
The 2013 first-round draft pick had 56 tackles and three interceptions in 13 games as a rookie.
Backup safety Josh Bush (quadriceps) and linebacker Ikemefuna Enemkpali (foot) have also been ruled out.
Starting safety Antonio Allen (concussion) and backup linebacker Nick Bellore (calf) are probable to play after both participated fully in practice.
