Jays send Dan Johnson to DL
Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – The Toronto Blue Jays announced Thursday that first baseman/designated hitter Dan Johnson has been placed on the 15-day disabled list due to a left hamstring strain.
Johnson has played in 13 games this season and is hitting .235.
The Blue Jays also recalled right-handed pitcher Chad Jenkins from Triple-A Buffalo.
