ISU’s Ejim out with knee injury

Ames, IA (Sports Network) – Iowa State announced Thursday that forward Melvin Ejim will miss the next 4-to-6 weeks with a knee injury.

Ejim suffered a hyperextended left knee and bone bruise during practice on Wednesday.

The native of Toronto averaged 10.3 points per game during his junior season and led the Big 12 Conference in rebounds per contest at 9.3. He also led the league with 15 double-doubles.
