Indians, Rzepczynski avoid arbitration
Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – The Cleveland Indians reached an agreement with pitcher Marc Rzepczynski on a one-year contract, avoiding arbitration.
The left-hander split last season between the Indians and Cardinals, posting a combined 3.23 ERA with 29 strikeouts through 30 2/3 innings.
Rzepczynski is 9-17 with a 3.95 ERA and 240 strikeouts in 204 career games (23 starts) with the Blue Jays, Cardinals and Indians.
