Indians exercise Aviles’ 2015 option
Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – The Cleveland Indians have exercised utilityman Mike Aviles’ $3.5 million club option for 2015.
Aviles just completed his second season with Cleveland, hitting .247 with five home runs and 39 RBI in 113 games. He equaled his career high and finished third on the club with 14 stolen bases.
In 712 career games with Kansas City, Boston and Cleveland, Aviles has hit .269 with 122 doubles, 53 homers and 275 RBI.
