Indians’ Bourn comes off DL

Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – The Cleveland Indians activated center fielder Michael Bourn from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

Bourn landed on the DL July 6 with a strained left hamstring. He is batting .267 with seven triples and 21 RBI in 66 games this season.

The 31-year-old Bourn takes reliever John Axford’s spot on the 25-man roster. Axford was claimed off waivers by Pittsburgh on Thursday.
